These Pictures Paint a Thousand Words

In business it’s often said that the “numbers don’t lie.”
Consider these numbers from Gallup’s most recent study of the global workplace: Currently, only 13% of employees across 142 countries worldwide are enthusiastic about their jobs and committed to their organization’s success. Those who are engaged are consequently twice as likely to view themselves as “thriving.” These numbers point to a shockingly-high number of unhappy, unfulfilled people in all corners of the world.
Obsession with numbers is what has caused a worldwide crisis of leadership. Leadership is about the stewardship of the lives we have the privilege to lead. As leaders, we should strive toward a meaningful statistic – the number of people whose lives we have the opportunity to touch in a meaningful, significant, positive way.
There is a growing hunger for a new kind of leadership. Click above to watch an artist illustrate how Truly Human Leadership can transform your workplace and ultimately the lives of those you lead. Then please share it with a colleague or friend. Time for Gallup’s numbers to see significant improvement.
